What stirs our wombs is divine design.

When we exile menopause, we exile ourselves.
When we reclaim menopause, we reclaim ourselves.

Menopause is the end of fertility and the beginning of liberation.

Here, I am not speaking of hormones and charts or suffering and loss, but of that which has been entirely forgotten when it comes to women: sovereignty, ceremony, sisterhood, and the cyclical intelligence of spiritual healing and evolution.

Menopause, in her quiet arrival, does not only signal an ending. She signals the opening of a primary portal that leads to our greatest becoming.

Ours is a story of medicine, memory and mystery.

Within the spiraling arc of perimenopause, menopause, and postmenopause lives the full flowering of a woman's potential. A new frequency, vast and limitless. She is the long-awaited beginning of everything we came here to embody: wisdom, sovereignty, devotion, service and the wild grace of unshakable presence.

Menopause saturated the core of my life.

She whispered my purpose, recalibrated my identity, reweaved my relationships with community, health, prosperity, intimacy, creativity, voice, and growth.

She dissolved things too. Old identities rife with overgiving, people pleasing and self sacrifice, were thrown into the fire of purification. Trauma based relationships that lacked repair, fear based work, self abandonment…all went into the fire. She was an overflowing well of change, rich with the ache of awakening.

While our bodies transition from fertile to fallow, our wisdom, beauty, emotional maturity, service and spiritual guidance become rich, radiant and fecund.

Our Rites of Passage

Each rite of passage is a guiding light illuminating our path of evolution. These are the ceremonies through which we remember our divinity.

Conception to 5 years

We are born as magical faeries, not of this world and not yet molded into what this world would make of us.

If, we are deemed less worthy because we are daughters, our beginning is marked by misalignment, by fear mistaken for protection and reverence replaced with neglect. If we are received as holy and intentional, as daughters whose presence is profound, then we begin our lives in sacred alignment, cradled in true love and honored as a vital thread in the great tapestry of life.

Each rite of passage is a guiding light illuminating our path of evolution.

The passage of menopause mentors us for more than a third of our lives. She is not a phase, she is the mother of all transitions and the guardian of physiological viability. She is purification: the path and the guide. She breaks us open and pulls the darkness into the light. She brings chronic discomfort, a myriad of pain, emotional anguish, mental breakdown and a complete physical overhaul. It is our highest privilege to experience her, learn from her and grow because of her.

All of our rites of passage possess the same amazing capacity. We can empower them to accelerate and expand our spiritual growth, or we can degrade them and they will drag us down, beat us up and leave us forever stranded in purgatory. It is up to us.

For centuries we have barely survived under the weight of fear based narratives, while forfeiting the cosmic alignment that they offer. We are free to undermine menopause but in doing so, we are only undermining ourselves, our own potential and our purpose. She is here to bring us into the next level of our becoming.

What would happen if we bowed to her wisdom, listened to her rhythms, and allowed her to shape us into the leaders we were always meant to be?
